Your student records your natural level, any existing artificial pigment, your porosity and your target level, then writes a formula that an instructor approves before a single bowl is mixed. We cover the full range of deposit and single-process work: gray coverage retouches on the regrowth, all-over global color, sheer glazes to refresh tone between appointments, dimensional shadow roots and low lights, and corrective work on color that has gone brassy, banded or uneven.
Because formulation and processing are being taught step by step, color appointments run long — plan on a half day for corrective work. The trade is price: our color sits far below Metro Detroit salon rates, and every formula is documented so your next visit can repeat or adjust it precisely.

Before & after care
- Do not wash your hair the morning of a color service — natural oils protect the scalp
- Disclose any box color, henna or previous lightening, even from years ago
- Wait 48 hours before your first shampoo after color
- Use a sulfate-free, color-safe shampoo and wash in cool water
- Book a glaze between full color appointments to keep tone from fading warm
